Course Description

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to respond effectively to behaviours of concern of people. Skills are associated with handling difficult incidents rather than managing ongoing behaviour difficulties.

Details of Learning Activities

This course will have 4 online interactive classes with additional online presentation material available in Canvas.
The course will provide skills and knowledge required to respond effectively to behaviours of concern.  It will focus on the skills that are associated with handling difficult incidents rather than managing ongoing behaviour difficulties.  The course applies to workers in any context exposed to difficult and challenging behaviour.
