Overview of Assessment

Assessment for this course is on going throughout the semester. Your knowledge and understanding of course content is assessed through completion of a body of work that demonstrates concept development, understanding of materials and adhering to the guidelines of working in a studio.
Production of a range of projects or concept realisations which show the creative application of processes to 2-dimensional forms

Assessment Tasks

To demonstrate competency in this course, you will need to complete the following pieces of assessment to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback on all assessment.

Assessment Tasks

1.     Assessment title: Colour Harmony

Completion of Project 1 – Week 4

2. Assessment title: Composition
Description: Present Compositions on A5 Paper – colour and Black geometric shapes

Completion of project : week 7

3. Assessment title: Collage

Description: Using Colour theory and Composition produce a collage combining the Two elements to produce a non – representational work.

Week: 10

5. Assessment title: Folio:

Description: All projects developed over the 9 weeks
