Course Description
This course covers the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to explore and creatively apply the design process to the development of 2 dimensional (2D) forms.

This course applies to individuals who apply the creative design process to the development of 2-dimensional forms. On successful completion of this course, you will have completed workshops and projects that will contribute to a portfolio of evidence.

Overview of Assessment
Assessment for this course is on going throughout the semester. Your knowledge and understanding of course content is assessed through completion of a body of work that demonstrates concept development, understanding of materials and adhering to the guidelines of working in a studio.

Assessment Tasks 1. Assessment title: Colour Harmony Completion of Project 1 – Week 4 2. Assessment title: Composition Completion of project : week 7 3. Assessment title: Collage Description: Using Colour theory and Composition produce a collage combining the Two elements to produce a non – representational work. Week: 10
5. Assessment title: Folio: Description: All projects developed over the 9 weeks Week: 10
6. Visual Diary: Description: Your visual diary should be a living document that provides insights to you influences, your ideas and how they impact your practice.
