Course Description

In an industry where creative team effort is highly valued, being able to collaborate is very important. This course is gives you the skills and knowledge required to collaborate successfully in a creative process.

• understand what how Copywrite and Patent laws relate to your work in event production

Overview of Assessment

Assessment for this course will involve demonstration of practical tasks and testing of your knowledge.

Assessment Tasks

This course is assessed in combination with another unit (clustered) CUALGT403 Set up and operate lighting cues and effects EEET7374C.

To demonstrate competency in this course you will need to complete the following assessment to a satisfactory standard.
You will receive feedback on all assessment and once you have demonstrated competency, you will receive a grade for the graded Assessment Task (refer to MyRMIT for grading rubric).

Assessment 1: Knowledge test online in Blackboard (to be completed at home after class 3)

Assessment 2: Setting-up and operating lighting for a live band recording with a crew in a professional setting at Bakehouse Studios (to be conducted on one afternoon/evening on one of the following dates; 18, 19, 25, 26 August or 1, 2 September 2017) 

Assessment 3: Reflection on Assessment 2 (to be completed in class 5)

Assessment 4: Operate lighting prac in collaborative pairs (to be conducted in class 7)
