Course Description

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to recognise the various sectors of the telecommunications industry and to perform individual work and work with others in telecommunications technology.

It applies to individuals who may undertake a range of simple tasks under close supervision and whose range of technical skills and knowledge is limited.

Assessment Tasks

This course is delivered in a cluster (Basic Network Project) in conjunction with BSBSMB407 (BUSM8738C).  

This is a project based course - there will be progressive assessment(s) of Project Exercise(s). You are required to complete the following three assessment tasks:

Assessment 1:   Assignment 1: Reflective Journal on Google Website- Every Week
Assessment 2:   Assignment 2: Project Brief, Scope, Plan-  Given Out- Week 1, Due on Week 8
Assessment 3:   Assignment 3: Final Report - Given Out- Week 4, Due on Week 17

Assesments Will go through Academic Integrity Check software TurnItIn. One student of a group will have an account created for this software and must submit the group report by 5 pm on Week 17 through TurnItIn.


All assessment tasks need to be successfully completed to demonstrate competence.
