Course Description
In this course students use the techniques, concepts and skills acquired in previous photography courses to produce a body of work of personal photographs/images that apply the knowledge of photography as a fine art discipline.
This course focuses on digital practice, with camera use and lighting techniques incorporated into digital studio outcomes.

Learning Outcomes
1. Demonstrate advanced technical understanding and use of camera equipment and materials.
2. Select, explore and apply a range of materials, techniques and processes used in the production of digital photographic images.
3. Adopt selectively contemporary issues and theory in photography.
4. Use photography effectively as a form of visual expression and articulation.
5. Incorporate personal philosophy and concerns as a basis for the production of art works to create a personal body of work.

Details of Learning Activities
Students will receive tuition in their individual studios and in the computer lab.
Lectures, demonstrations, group discussion, gallery excursions and individual tutorials will all feature as part of the course.
Students are expected to work on their practice in their studios and off campus.
