Course Description

The purpose of this course is to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to create initial design concepts and produce artwork to finished art stage.

Learning Outcomes

1. Identify key requirements of a brief

Overview of Assessment

The assessment will be as follows:
- Exercises
- Practical projects

Students will be tutored with a verbal and/or written evaluation of their progress for each submission.
A final graded assessment will be given at the end of the course when students will submit all completed work.

This course is co-assessed with MANU 5733 Produce a typographic image, MANU 5734 Compose & evaluate typography, MANU 5735 Output images to film and paper, SOSK 5155 Develop self as a designer.
