Course Description

To provide learners with skills, knowledge and attitudes to become competent to:

• Use a range of advanced functions within software package. The packages include a word processing, spreadsheet, graphic, presentation and database package.
• Produce complex word-processed documents, spreadsheet models using formula and functions and effectively and in a timely manner.
• Manage, manipulate and present information in database files.
• Use industry standard software and hardware to create, manipulate, manage and print images and illustrations.
• Use the internet to conduct research.
