Course Description

This unit of competency describes the skills and
knowledge required to construct complete and partial,
immediate replacement dentures and surgical templates

All procedures must be carried out in accordance with
occupational health and safety policies and procedures,
current infection control guidelines, Australian and New
Zealand Standards, state/territory legislative
requirements and organisation policy

This unit is to be assessed in a simulated workplace and under the normal range of work conditions.
Practical exercises, presentation of competency assessment exercises & written tests are used.
