Course Description

This unit of competency, Make a presentation BSBCMM401A is delivered in the class Design Studio 1, together with Create titles for screen productions CUFANM403A and Collaborate in a Creative Process BSBCRT402A. This unit will involve research and development of concepts that emphasise good visual design practice. You will also learn how to present this information in the most effective way.

Assessment for this course is ongoing throughout the semester. Your knowledge of course content is assessed through participation in class exercises, practical project work and through the application of learned skills.


Assessment Tasks

To demonstrate competency in this course, you will need to complete the following pieces of assessment to a satisfactory standard.

Assessment task 2A
Attend the Week 6 Design project panel presentation and reflection
In your Design Studio Journal briefly discuss the feedback you have received from the panel.

Assessment task 2B
Prepare the Preproduction proposal for your Animation project. Using the template provided you will submit:
1. Present a Draft of proposal due week 7
(you will receive feedback to make any changes as required for the presentation and submission of the Preproduction proposal for your Animation project )
2. Presentation of Completed Preproduction proposal for your Animation project due week 8 and present it in class

Assessment task 2C
In your Design Studio Journal briefly discuss the principles of effective communication. Due week 15
