Written Anatomy & Physiology Examination and Pathophysiology examinations
Observation in the workplace with questioning to address appropriate application of knowledge.
Assessment Tasks
Evidence of essential knowledge and understanding may be provided by:
- Anatomy & Physiology examination
- Pathophysiology examination
Case study and scenario as a basis for discussion of issues and strategies to contribute to best practice
Questioning
Staff and/or client feedback
Assessment Matrix
Two summative examinations assessing knowledge on Anatomy & Physiology and Pathophysiology will be required, one assessing the first half of the course and one the second half.
Observation and assessment of clinical competencies will be ongoing during clinical placements.
To achieve competency assignment must be completed by due date and related clinical competencies achieved
