Course Description

In this course you will develop the skills and knowledge required to explore and creatively apply the design process to the development of 2 dimensional (2D) forms.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment is on-going throughout the course. Assessment will incorporate a range of methods to assess performance and the application of knowledge and skills.
Assessment tasks are:
Practical exercises and 1 major project

Please note: All Assessment tasks need to be completed before competency is achieved. A number of tasks will be formative to show your progress and development of skills and knowledge throughout the semester. The final task will be summative to provide a level of performance in addition to your competency.

TASK 4: Stage 1 Folio

Due Week 15. MAJOR ASSESSMENT. Digital Submission

 

Produce an A4 magazine style folio including all works exercises from 2D Design

Folio should include:

  1. Professional documentation of all exercises
  2. Section headings for each work
  3. Descriptive captions for each work
  4. A consistently applied visual identity
  5. A contents page

Visual Identity

Develop and create a branding for yourself as a Visual Merchandiser and apply to your Stage 1 Folio.
