In this course, you will gain the knowledge and skills required to participate in and provide general support for a range of informal and formal groups in a variety of settings.

Assessment Tasks
Assessment Task 1: This assessment will provide you with real life scenarios that you may face working in the youth work sector. This assessment task will assess your skills and knowledge in planning and conducting group activities.
Assessment Task 2: This assessment will be worked on over a long period of time while you are working in the workplace. It consists of two parts both requiring you to complete a portfolio of evidence and answer reflection questions.
Assessment Task 3: This assessment task allows you to demonstrate your knowledge of planning group activities over 15 questions.

The assessment matrix demonstrates alignment of assessment tasks with the relevant unit of competency.
