Course Description
In this course you will develop the skills and knowledge required to carry out complex project activities or multiple projects simultaneously. Typically this work is undertaken by project officers who are required to work on projects for multiple clients, or all aspects of larger projects. They are sometimes responsible for all the project deliverables, and at other times they work in teams on aspects of a number of projects. The course includes reviewing and confirming requirements of each project/activity, organising and undertaking project activities, managing the progress of multiple projects/activities and finalising projects/activities.

Details of Learning Activities
Essential learning activities will take place during 4 classes. You will also be required to undertake independent studies. All courses and learning activities will be supported and complemented by RMIT’s learning management tool "Blackboard". You will be required to participate in on line learning activities each month using the discussion board forum.

Overview of Assessment
This course focuses on the work activities required to carry out complex project activities or multiple projects simultaneously, including reviewing and confirming requirements of each project/activity, organising and undertaking project activities, managing the progress of multiple projects/activities and finalising projects/activities. Assessment activities will include:
- Project brief
- Case study
Assessment Tasks
There are two assessment tasks for this course; the second task is divided into two parts:
1. Case study: students will be given a case study in class and will be required to answer a set of short answer questions which will demonstrate their competency in this course. Due date 09.06.2015
2. Project brief 1: Students will answer short answer questions based on either a hypothetical or real project undertaken in the workplace. Due date: 20.08.2015
3. Project brief 2: Students will answer short answer questions which will show how they would evaluate a project undertaken in the workplace. Due date: 24.9.2015
