Course Description
In this course you will be investigate styling fashion for TV commercials, print and catalogue in response to a brief. This will include creating a short moving image piece involving the planning, administering and monitoring of the project with an aim to conceptualise and think creatively around a brief.
This unit is delivered and assessed with BUSM7950C (BSBPMG522) Undertake project work and GRAP5364C (STYMED501A) Style fashion for TV commercials and print media in response to a brief

Overview of Assessment
Assessment is ongoing throughout the course and will include a range of practical and theory components. Full assessment briefs will be provided and can be found on Canvas.
This is a Vocational Education and Training qualification and is assessed for Competency. To be assessed as Competent means you have consistently demonstrated the required knowledge and skills at a standard required in the workplace. To be assessed as Competent in this course, you will need to complete each assessment task to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.

Assessment Tasks
Assessment Task 1: Respond to a Brief - You will answer a set of knowledge questions relating to the procedures, processes and responsibilities that are relevant to managing a project and produce a billboard in response to a design brief. Due Week 5
Assessment Task 2: Produce Print Media - You will design, style and produce a Poster as a part of an Advertising Campaign for an accessory brand. The effective execution of your print media collateral will require the establishment of design requirements, consultation with the creative team, development of the design brief and execution of the project plan. Due Week 10
Assessment Task 3: Create a Promotional Video - You will answer a set of knowledge questions relating to the production and implementation of a design brief and produce a 3-minute video that promotes/advertises your Styling Portfolio. It will showcase your styling aptitude via a selection of moving / still imagery and include a visual narrative that best represents you as a practicing Stylist. Due Week 15
