Course Description
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to assess the diverse and multi-faceted needs of people and determine both internal and external services required to meet those needs.
This unit applies in a range of community service contexts.
This unit is delivered and assessed as a cluster with:
- CHCMHS005 - Provide services to people with co-existing mental health and alcohol and other drugs issues
- CHCMHS006 - Facilitate the recovery process

If you are seeking an extension of more than seven calendar days (from the original due date) you must lodge an Application for Special Consideration form, preferably prior to, but no later than two working days after the official due date.
