This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to produce creative photo images using photo lighting principles.

Tech & Emotive is a clustered unit comprising of Produce Technical Photo Images (CUAPHI503) and Explore the Descriptive and Emotive Nature of Photo Lighting (CUAPHI510).

Assessment Tasks

To be assessed as Competent in this course, you will need to complete each assessment task to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.

Assignment 01 - Master at Work – Portrait
Plan and capture a skilled Masters portrait either on location or in the studio.

Assignment 02 - Tech Images Macro
Macro photography is like a secret world in that you can capture ordinary objects in a way that the human eye cannot see them! Plan and create captivating macro images.
Due Week 10
Assignment 03 – Art Reproduction/Documentary
As part of your remit as a professional photographer accurately document 2D works e.g. art paintings, illustrations, screen-prints and even photographic works.
