You will receive written feedback on all assessment tasks.

Task 1: Plan, develop and trial & review one assessment tool

In this task, you are required to plan, design and develop one complete assessment tool for an entire unit of competency. Complete this in three parts:

  • Plan a competency-based assessment that covers one entire unit of competency and its assessment requirements
  • Design and develop the assessment tool and all appropriate documentation that supports your assessment plan
  • Trial, review and revise your assessment tool

Task 2: Plan, develop and trial & review two additional assessment tools

In this task, you are required to plan, design and develop TWO complete assessment tools for two different units of competency, each tool must cover the entire unit of competency selected. Complete the following three parts for each tool design

  • Plan competency-based assessment that covers two entire units of competency and their assessment requirements
  • Design and develop 2 assessment tools and all appropriate documentation that supports your 2 assessment plans
  • Trial, review and revise your 2 assessment tools

Further details of the above assessment tasks will be provided in session 1, via the Canvas LMS.

Task 3: Knowledge Questions

For this assessment, there is a set of questions which relate to the required skills and knowledge needed to design and develop learning strategies based on skill sets and/or qualifications from nationally accredited training packages.
