Course Description

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to research information about compliance and ethical practice responsibilities, and then develop and monitor policies and procedures to meet those responsibilities.

This unit applies to people working in roles with managerial responsibility for legal and ethical compliance in small to medium sized organisations. There may or may not be a team of workers involved.

Details of Learning Activities

This is an online course delivered via webinars every week. Students will be expected to read the class slides prior to the webinar. The slides will then be discussed and a Q & A session will be held in  relation   to how the slides relate to the massage industry .Students will learn about the legal and ethical part of the Remedial Massage Industry.

Students will have an understanding of Industry standards, industry regulators and partnerships within other indusrty providers.

Students will be introduced to the understanding of what is legally required to run a business as a Remedial Massage therapist.

Codes of conduct and what is considered ethical  within the remedial Massage industry
