Overview of Assessment

 Assessment Tasks

 1. Online Quizzes

 2. Clinic Skills Checklist. This is to be completed during student clinic shifts.

The tasks to be assessed within this unit replicate the necessary skills and knowledge required to confirm physical health status within the industry.

Assessment Tasks

Assessment Tasks:

  • Assessment Task 1: Weekly Turnitin - Anatomy and Physiology Questions:

For each of the human body systems discussed in class, you will be required to complete a table containing specific criteria. This task will require you to complete a template provided, and submit your work weekly via Turnitin on Blackboard. You will be given one week to complete this task, with assessment submissions being due ONE week after the topic is covered is covered in class. Each submission will be due by the following Friday by 11:00pm. Submissions made after this time will not be accepted. See the Teaching Schedule for a detailed listing of Turnitin submission due dates.

Please ensure that all work submitted is your own, and is in accordance with the Harvard style of referencing. You must acknowledge your sources according to the Harvard Style of referencing. Use the prescribed text or another pre-approved text. Internet sources will not be accepted. Please ensure you submit each task weekly, as late submissions will NOT be accepted.

  • Assessment Task 2: Clinic Skills Checklist:

Each student will be required to complete a Clinic Skills Checklist which will be undertaken within the clinical setting of the RMIT Student Remedial Massage Clinic. During your clinic shift your supervisor will mark you off as either Satisfactory (S) or Not Yet Satisfactory (NYS) for the skills contained within the Clinic Skills Checklist.
