Course Description

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to construct removable orthodontic appliances.

This unit applies to work in dental technology.

Overview of Assessment

Before the critical aspects of evidence are considered all prerequisites must be met.

Practical assessment, read and correctly interpret work orders, fabricate appliances.  Critically evaluate practical work to meet technical laboratory and clinician requirements.
