Course Description

This course describes the skills and knowledge required to develop communication protocols specific to the workplace and is particularly pertinent for workers responsible for overseeing the communication of organisation-specific information to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

This course is clustered for delivery with three (3) other courses:

  • CHCCCS007 Develop and implement service programs 
  • CHCGRP002   Plan and conduct group activities
  • HLTWHS004  Manage work health and safety

 These courses are delivered together and assessed separately.

Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities

Applicants must have completed a Certificate IV in Community Services or a related field (Youth Work, Disability & Alcohol & Other Drugs) and be currently employed in a community services organisation working with either men, women, young people and families.
