Course Description
This unit covers the testing of materials to evaluate the engineering properties of materials.
It includes the recognition of common materials used in engineering, the classification of materials, the principle properties of materials and the factors that influence these properties.
Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities
EDX010 - Communicate and apply standard industry procedures and policies in an engineering design office.
