Course Description
This unit of competency sets out the knowledge and skills required to apply modelling techniques to create 3D solid model assemblies for computer processing and presentation purposes. This includes applications in CAD, computer graphics and animation, rapid prototyping, medical testing, and visualisation of scientific research.

Students will use SOLID WORKS software to learn to:
Create , assemble and 2D presentation of different parts.
How to use different planes, loft and advance modelling.
Using design centre, import standard parts like bearing, Screws.. etc and assemble them.
Perform motion simulation and collision detection.
2D presentation .
Bill of material and Quantity generation.

As This Course is based on Competency Method, Student Must demonstrate in the class about their competency.
The Break up of assessment Task will be:-
1. Project 1 - Assembly of Blower.
2. Project -2 ( Bench work Assembly)
3. Project -3 ( Radial Engine Assembly )
4. Project -4 2D - Presentation of Project 1, 2 and 3
5. Project - 5 (Assembly and 2D presentation of Bicycle) -.
It is very Important that all the Project work Should be done in the class and prove your competency to the class teacher. All Four project works include assembly,
simulation and 2D presentation.
