Course Description
This unit covers providing known solutions to predictable problems in stand-alone renewable energy systems operated at extra-low voltage. It encompasses working safely, problem solving procedures, including the use of basic voltage, current and resistance measuring devices, providing known solutions to predictable circuit problems.

Overview of Assessment
Assessment may incorporate a variety of methods including written/oral activities and demonstration of practical skills to the relevant industry standards. Participants are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment activities to their teacher/assessor. Feedback will be provided throughout the course.

Other Information
This course is delivered in a cluster (Renewable Energy 2) comprising EEET6798C and EEET6799C (’Solve Problems in stand-alone renewable energy systems’ and ’Design stand-alone renewable energy systems’ respectively).
All the learning and assessment activities will include the components of both competencies UEENEEK028B and UEENEEK039B.
In this cluster, minimum student directed hours are 36 in addition to 64 scheduled teaching hours.
Student directed hours involve completing activities such as reading online resources, assignments, project work, individual student-teacher course-related consultation and writing lab reports.

Late submission:
Students requiring extensions for 7 calendar days or less (from the original due date) must complete and lodge an Application
