Course Description

In this unit you will develop the knowledge and skills to work as a member of a team or as an individual for periods of time without direct supervision and for coaching and mentoring colleagues.

Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities

Students are assumed to be experienced disability staff working the disability or community services fields.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment will be through a mix of in class tasks, workplace based projects and a workplace assessment.  A workplace assessment appointment will be undertaken once per year with you, to allow you to present and discuss workplace evidence.
