Course Description

This unit covers the knowledge and skills required to develop and implement a transport and logistics system within an international trade organisation or relevant workplace environment. It also includes the skills and knowledge required to monitor and
evaluate the effectiveness of the transport and logistics system.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment methods have been designed to measure achievement of the requirements in a flexible manner over a range of assessment tasks, for example:

  • Project work
  • Written reports supported by practical assignments or tasks for individual assessment
  • Observation of workplace practice supported by personal interviews
  • Practical display with personal interview, presentations or documentation
  • Case studies

Students are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment work to their teacher to ensure that the relevant competency standards are being met. Students will be provided with feedback throughout the course to check their progress.
