Learning Outcomes
On completion of this unit you have the skills and knowledge required to comply with infection control policies and procedures. All procedures must be carried out in accordance with current infection control guidelines, Australia and New Zealand Standards for maintaining infection control and the policies and procedures of the organisation.
Details of Learning Activities
Participate in theory sessions and workshops
Using workplace scenarios, participate in simulations/role plays/case studies dealing with infection control procedures
Simulation:
Participate in individual/team scenarios/role plays/case studies/simulations dealing with maintenance of infection control in the dental prosthetist workplace
Workplace:
Participate in a practical placement in a designated dental prosthetist workplace and maintaining infection control standards , maintain clinical uup to date clinical logbook.
