Course Description

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to undertake a straightforward project or a section of a larger project. It covers developing a project plan, administering and monitoring the project, finalising the project and reviewing the project to identify lessons learned for application to future projects.

Overview of Assessment

Assessment for this course is ongoing throughout the semester. Your knowledge of course content is assessed through participation in class exercises, practical project work and through the application of learned skills.


Assessment Tasks

Students enrolled in Vocational Education and Training qualifications are assessed for Competency.  To be assessed competent means you have consistently demonstrated the required knowledge and skills at a standard expected in the workplace. To be assessed as Competent in this course, you will need to complete each assessment task to a satisfactory standard. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.


AT1 Finalise Preproduction, Project plan documents and Presentation

Finalise the preproduction documentation that you started in Semester 1 and present it for approval for the semester 2 Project.

AT2 Administer, monitor and finalise the project

Undertake the build of the Semester 2 project and monitor its progress and the administrative management of this project.

Due week 14


AT3 Review the project

Undertake a presentation review on the completion of your project and write a short report on the project and processes.
