Assessment Tasks

Assessment Task 1 – Pre Production preparation for Post

Also discuss the production and post production schedules, delivery of assets to the Editor and deadlines for Final Production and copyright requirements.

The Media Assets Manager and Editor can be the same person.

Meeting 2*

Arrange a pre production meeting with the Editor and DOP to collaborate in designing the structure of any complex scenes that are in your Production (digital visual effects, special effects, action/choreography, crowd scenes, OH&S and ethical issues, moving vehicles and/or moving camera shots), these scenes must be storyboarded and discussed in detail. Ethical issues include scenes of racism, sexism, LGBT issues, any intolerance toward members of the community, violence, trauma, physical contact, nudity, emotional or psychological abuse. You must attend this meeting with a draft storyboard and scene breakdown/s (for complex scenes ONLY) to begin the discussion.

TWO APPOINTMENTS MUST BE SCHEDULED WITHIN ONE MONTH OF YOUR PRODUCTION (AROUND THE PRODUCTION SCHEDULE)
