Course Description
In this course you will cover skills and knowledge required to implement systems and processes to manage media assets for screen productions and digital projects.

Overview of Assessment
Assessment for this course is ongoing throughout the semester. Your knowledge of course content is assessed through participation in practical exercises, knowledge assessment tasks and practical projects.
Assessment Tasks
For each assessment task you will receive a detailed brief specifying requirements
To demonstrate competency in this course you will need to complete the following assessments to a satisfactory standard.
You will receive feedback on all assessments and where indicated, you will receive a grade. Graded assessment tasks are equally weighted and will determine your final result for this course.
Assessment Tasks (ungraded):
Assessment Task 1 - Media Management and File Naming (ungraded). You will prepare folders for the media assets required for the major project you will be completing in semester 2. You will also devise an appropriate file naming system that will enable you to manage your projects media requirements for your Production. Due Date: week 2
Assessment Tasks (graded):
Assessment Task 2 - Major Production: Procedure to Manage Media (graded). You will communicate established procedures for managing content and outputs from your Production and pass on recorded documentation and media assets to the Editor and Post Production team. Due Date: Rolling assessment, please see assessment schedule (on Canvas), weeks 3 to 15.
Assessment Task 3 - Finalise Production (graded). You will determine requirements for archiving, copyright, sign-off and review procedures for your project. Due Date: week 16
Assessment tasks 1, 2 and 3 are to be finalised by no later than end of Semester 2 Week 16.
