Course Description

The purpose of this module is to provide the participant with the knowledge and skills required to cut holes in materials and flash penetrations in plumbing applications.

Pre-requisite Courses and Assumed Knowledge and Capabilities

Pre-requisites:
VBM988 Workplace safety and environment procedures

Co-requisites:
It is strongly recommended that this module be delivered in conjunction with the following modules to provide realistic, practical tasks for this application:
• VBM989 Building structures
• VBN989 Technical drawing and plan development for plumbing.

Participants are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment activities to their teacher/assessor.  Feedback will be provided throughout the course.
