Overview of Assessment
Assessment may incorporate a variety of methods including written/oral activities and demonstration of practical skills to the relevant industry standards.
Participants are advised that they are likely to be asked to personally demonstrate their assessment activities to their teacher/assessor. Feedback will be provided throughout the course.
Assessment Tasks
Students are required to complete three different types of assessment tasks
1.Students are required to complete workbook task 15B.
2. Demonstration of skills in CPR procedures requires using a model of the human body (resuscitation manikin) in line with ARC Guidelines and demonstration of first aid procedures for severe bleeding must be demonstrated using standard precautions and first aid equipment including trauma dressings 15C.
3. Students are required to complete theory assessment task 15D.
