Course Description

This unit of competency provides the students with the skills & knowledge required to administer & monitor medications & evaluate their effectiveness in the work environment. The student will be provided with the underpinning knowledge of pharmacology & assessment skills required to safely administer oral, topical, enteral & parenteral (excluding intravenous) medications. Students will also be provided with skills to manage IV therapy.
