The unit ’TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills’ is holistically assessed with other units within the TAE40110 qualification. A detailed list of units can be found in the Workplace Project 2 assessment document.
Assessment Tasks
This unit is co-assessed with TAEDEL401A
4 Short Answer Questions available on the Combined Delivery Project2/LLN project document
This combined project has been developed to allow both Delivery Project 2 and the TAELLN411 project to be co-assessed as one project.
You are to plan, organise and deliver two (2) consecutive sessions from a learning program.
Each session must be at least 40-60 minutes long (i.e. 80-120 minutes total)
You must also address adult LLN skills of the group of learners in your learning program. You are to show evidence in addressing those LLN needs by:
1. Learner Needs: Analyse and identify the LLN skill needs of a learner group
2. Plan: Identify strategies and resources to address the LLN skill gaps
3. Deliver: Train and assess learners using the support strategies identified
4. Review: Review the effectiveness of the LLN support.
It is a requirement of the Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40110) program, that all assessment projects (both in-class (Project 1), the workplace (Combined LLN/Delivery Project 2), Individual training x 2 (Project 3) and the Short Answer Questions for the Delivery module, are to be submitted electronically through the RMIT ‘C4277TAE’ Blackboard site. You are asked to submit each assessment project as a single ‘PDF’ file, to which you must include a signed RMIT Cover Sheet - multiple project files will not be accepted.
*Please add your name and student no: into the footer of your project document.
*Please note, that no ‘Hard Copy’ portfolios will be accepted.
