Course Description

In this Course you will develop skills to apply workplace policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for self and others.
This course consists of 2 Units of Competency that are clustered together for delivery and assessment.
The other Unit of Competency in this clustered course is MSTGN4010 Implement and monitor WHS and environmental systems in the workplace
Please note there will be some adjustments made to the delivery of this course when taken as part of the evening classes in the part-time program.

Overview of Assessment

This course is assessed in accordance with competency-based assessment. To demonstrate competency in this course you will need to complete all the assessment to a satisfactory standard.

You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.

This online learning and assessment task will enable you to identify information about OH&S policies including controlling hazards and assessing risks, identify and interpret signs and symbols, including emergency alarms & maintaining OH&S records.

Studio Safety Guideline Document 
Prepare a Studio Safety Guideline document that provides detail on the daily operations of a Textile Studio (print, weave, knit) detailing floorplans for equipment locations, safety material location, storage & detail on each of the following OH&S considerations:
