Course Description

This unit of competency covers the ability to receive and pass on written and oral messages, provide relevant information in response to requests within timelines and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.

Assessment Tasks

As this course has, at its core, a requirement to communicate effectively, class participation will be observed and will be a consideration in the grading.
Layout and presentation of assessment tasks will be a significant consideration in the grading.
A minimum Pass Grade must be obtained in each of the three assessment tasks in order to pass this course.
Timely submission (on the dates given) of worksheets and assignments will be a consideration in the grading: work handed in after the specified date will incur a grading penalty.
