Course Description
Produce artwork from a concept to finished art stage through the exploration and application of a range of advanced techniques and media. It is a specialisation unit and refers to a specific art form.

Overview of Assessment
Assessment for this unit will include some or all of the following tools;
Digital projects, exercises, briefs, team projects.
Students will be tutored with a verbal and/or written evaluation of their progress, within class time.
A final assessment of Competency Achieved or Not Yet Competent will be given at the end of the course when students will submit all completed work.
To be deemed competent students must satisfactorily complete all Learning Elements and related Performance Criteria.
Grading will be offered in addition to, and after, competency based assessment
Assessment Tasks
Assessment tasks in this course are either formative or summative. Formative tasks provide the basis for ongoing feedback and can be considered essential building blocks for the more substantial summative assessment tasks. Summative assessment tasks in this unit are graded.

Using an interactive quiz and some practical activates students will test their understanding of knowledge and skills.
Brief 1 Prepare file for Print Week 10 TBC (Summative)
In this brief students will use the skills and knowledge they have learnt in the course to prepare digital file for print
Due end of week 14 TBC.
Knowledge & Skills Test 2 Week 15 TBC (Summative)
Using an interactive quiz and some practical activates students will demonstrate understanding of knowledge and skills
You will receive feedback with verbal and/or written evaluation of your progress within class time (Formative). The submitted projects will be assessed with written feedback as well as a quality indicator that relates to separate components of the project and the overall outcome (Summative).
At the completion of the course, grading will be offered in addition to, and after, competency based assessment.
