Course Description
In this course you will develop the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to evaluate a training program in order to measure the effectiveness of training in meeting workforce performance needs and capability requirements.

Learning activities are dependent upon the mode of delivery. In this case delivery is online so activities may include but are not limited to:

• keeping an online reflective journal
• analysis/critique of relevant reading material
• individual or group projects conducted through electronic media
• peer teaching and workshop presentations
• online research
• other online activities as decided by the facilitator

Assessment Tasks
To demonstrate competency in this course, you need to complete each one of the following pieces of assessment to a satisfactory standard.
You will need to provide evidence demonstrating that you can:
- evaluate a training program against workforce performance needs and capability requirements
- produce an evaluation report that addresses all phases of the evaluation process including recommendations on areas for improvement
- critically review the evaluation process and approaches taken and propose changes to improve the process.
In completing the above task please also follow any extra instructions provided by your facilitator.
