Course Description

The ability to work with an ever expanding range of data and information technologies is crucial to employment in all industries.The purpose of this course is to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to install and manage enterprise-wide information and communications technology (ICT) networks as used within the live event industry.

Assessment Task 1 - Practical Assessment Task: Assemble and test network cable. Due: Class #2 Please refer to the Assessment Tool document for full details of this assessment task.

Assessment Task 2 - Practical Assessment Task: Work in a group to install and monitor a complex ICT network capable of audio visual signal transport. Due: Class # 10 & 11 Please refer to the Assessment Tool document for full details of this assessment task.

Assessment Task 3 - Theory Test: Open book multiple choice classroom underpinning knowledge theory test. Due: Class #13 Please refer to the Assessment Tool document for full details of this assessment task.
