DFAT Scholarships

If you are an international student, the Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS) may financially support you whilst studying at RMIT.

The scholarships and awards value vary but may cover full tuition fees, a stipend, Introductory Academic Program, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and other expenses.

RMIT University participates in the Australia Awards Scholarship. These Australian Government scholarships are available to students from many developing countries.

Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS) are a bilateral aid program that aim to promote growth and stability in the Asia-Pacific region to contribute to the long-term development needs of Australia's partner countries.

The Australia Awards Leadership Program is supplementary to the Australia Awards Scholarships. Up to 200 outstanding Australia Awards Scholarship recipients across the globe will be offered a place in the Australia Awards Leadership Program in addition to their scholarship. The program brings awardees together in Australia for leadership training, development discussions and the chance to build valuable networks.
