Course Description
This capstone course provides an interactive Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experience, allowing you to apply disciplinary knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to address real-world commercial challenges. Through collaboration with industry partners, you will engage in structured Industry Partnered Learning (IPL) activities, which may include industry projects, simulated workplace environments, or a combination of both, to develop innovative solutions to emerging and future commerce opportunities. In this course, you will explore global commerce landscapes, digital transformation, and executive-level decision-making, critically assessing emerging technologies, regulatory frameworks, and data-driven business strategies. You will work on industry-based projects that align with contemporary commercial priorities, considering ethical, legal, and governance factors while developing strategic insights that can add value to an organisation. You will also enhance your interpersonal, leadership, and professional communication skills by collaborating in diverse teams and presenting your findings to industry stakeholders with varying perspectives and interests. As a culminating capstone experience, this course enables you to integrate, critically reflect on, and consolidate your learning from the program. Through authentic industry engagement, you will apply your knowledge in real-world commercial contexts, demonstrating your readiness to navigate complex business environments and drive strategic decision-making in the digital economy.
