Course Description
In this course you will learn the skills and knowledge required to develop the conceptual aspects of any creative practice, including through the processes of evaluation, critical thinking and research.

**Evolve ideas for professional creative work has four specialist streams of which you select and successfully complete 2 specialist streams from the 4; Painting, Photography, Printmaking
and/or Sculpture.

Overview of Assessment
Assessment for this course is ongoing throughout the semester. Your knowledge and understanding of course content is assessed through participation in class exercises, oral/written presentations and through the application of learned skills and insights. Full assessment briefs will be provided and can be found on CANVAS.
Assessment Tasks
Students enrolled in Vocational Education and Training qualifications are assessed for Competency. To be assessed as Competent means you have consistently demonstrated the required knowledge and skills at a standard expected in the workplace.
You must receive satisfactory in all the assessments for creative work in the two specialisations you have selected to be deemed competent in the unit of competency Evolve ideas for professional creative work. You will receive feedback from the teacher at the conclusion of each assessment task.
