Course Description
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to manage the development and administration of the building project documentation.
It requires the ability to apply the relevant legislation relating to project administration and to comply with the organisational requirements for quality assurance.

Learning Outcomes
This unit of competency supports the attainment of the skills and knowledge required for building designers to manage the documentation and administration requirements for architectural projects.
Details of Learning Activities
Learning activities will take place in a classroom using industry standard tools and resources. Classes will be in a remote (virtual) learning mode online.

Overview of Assessment
This unit of competency could be assessed in the workplace or a close simulation of the workplace environment, provided that simulated or project-based assessment techniques replicate design drafting workplace conditions, materials, activities, responsibilities and procedures.
Holistic or project-based assessment with other related units is recommended.
