Course Description

The course covers effective methodologies to devise real solutions for challenges in intercultural management and communication faced by today’s technology leaders.


Objectives/Learning Outcomes/Capability Development

This course contributes to the following program learning outcomes:

On completion of this course you should be able to:

1. Communicate with intercultural teams and the community at large to investigate and present different technology techniques.
2. Describe the importance of delivering intercultural business value to clients via technology.
3. Describe the challenges of intercultural management and communication.
4. Mediate between different cultures to generate synergies.
Communicate in a variety of international and intercultural contexts.

Overview of Learning Resources

Learning resources will consist of recommended references and class notes which may be accessed through "myRMIT" if you are in Melbourne and via "RMIT online" if you are based in Vietnam.
The set of references is deliberately broad, including books, journal publications, government reports, industry standards and handbooks, and web-based resources.
