Assessment will be comprised of assignments, which include critique and presentations in groups.   Assessment will be comprised of practical and theoretical aspects of your learning and feedback be given for all assessable items.

Assessment Task 1

“Design Motion Prototype: Ideate” (20%).

In this assessment task, you will present your initial design prototype response to the brief at hand. This assessment will cover the following course learning outcomes:

  • Discuss and apply industry standards in digital media to implement integrated audio-visual systems.

Assessment Task 2

“Design Motion Prototype” (40%).

In this assessment task, you will present your progressions and designs representing a halfway milestone in the delivery of the briefed project. This assessment will cover the following course learning outcomes:

  • Apply theory and technical skills to capture and produce high quality digital video.
  • Investigate and assess the most appropriate technology for the development of digital video productions.

Assessment Task 3

“Design Motion Prototype Presentation” (40%).

In this assessment task, you will present your design motion prototype

This assessment will cover the following course learning outcomes:

  • Produce media that can be distributed across a broad range of platforms in collaboration with others.
