Course Description
This course describes the communication and work practice skills and knowledge required to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the
health industry context. It deals specifically with cross-cultural awareness and issues involving working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, organisations and communities.

Learning Outcomes
Overview of Assessment
The assessments will involve preparing journals and going through workplace policies and procedures. Individual participation in online learning activities and case studies and participation in workplace job activities, related to elements of this competency will be involved.
