Course Description

This course deals with legal and ethical requirements in the health industry workplace and the responsibilities of the employee with a senior technician role.
Skills acquired from this course include the ability to implement and monitor compliance in legal and ethical requirements in the health industry setting.
The neurophysiology technician is required to evaluate and analyse current legal and ethical practices in the neurophysiology laboratory (or clinic/department) and demonstrate the ability to offer guidance to others, and demonstrate leadership skills in participation in the development of related policy and procedures.
