Course Description
This course extends the student’s understanding of computer networking. It deepens their knowledge of Local Area Networks and introduces them to Wide Area Networks.
Students will be enrolled into the Cisco Networking Academy Program and use its extensive online curriculum resources with web based content, online assessment, student performance tracking, hands-on labs and preparation for industry standard certifications. This course will be delivered using the Academy’s CCNA1 and 2 curriculum.

Learning Outcomes
Overview of Assessment
The student must demonstrate an understanding of all elements of a particular competency to be deemed competent.
Assessment will incorporate a variety of methods including online or written tests, a Skills Test which covers skills acquired in lab activities and a final online theory exam.
