Course Description
This course is designed to develop an understanding in the solution to networking issues and gaining practical skills in configuration and diagnosis of faults in networking component. It assists the learners to gain knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to safely install, configure, test and maintain IP networking equipment commonly found in customer premises within the Telecommunication and Electronic industry.

This is a progressive assessment, the underpinning knowledge will be assessed on the completion of each course, but the competency itself will not be signed off until this and the further course EEET6556C related to same competency are completed and the student is deemed competent.
The students are required to undertake summative assessments that bring together skills and knowledge as follows:
