Course Description

This course includes the skills and knowledge required of Enrolled/Division 2 nurses to contribute to the care of the person with an acute health problem by performing nursing interventions that support their health care needs and assist them to regain optimal function and lifestyle

Assignment worth 100%

In order for students to be deemed Competent in skill based units, it is a requirement that student’s attend 80% of all classes in each course of study and successfully complete, to a Competent level (grade CA) a pre-clinical hurdle.

Failure to meet these components may result in withdrawal from Clinical Placement.
